The viral immersive dining experience is launching a full run at PATINA, starting in May. Eat what you see on screen! Taste Film, the immersive dining experience, is bringing its unique blend of cinema and food to Patina, one of Edinburgh’s most creative dining spaces, starting this summer. Taste Film has sold out screenings across London and Manchester, and debuted in Edinburgh last Christmas with a sold-out run of festive film pick The Holiday. Here’s the story: audiences watch nostalgic films, while enjoying a set menu inspired by the action on screen, with dishes served in perfect sync to key moments of the story. The most popular films have been selected for the Edinburgh summer programme: Ratatouille, Pulp Fiction, Chef, Pretty Woman and Moulin Rouge, with more to come!
Amy Fernando, founder of Taste Film, said: “Edinburgh is the natural next step for us at Taste. “It’s a city that thrives on arts, creativity and comes with its own signature culinary identity; it’s everything we could want in a new city. “We transform movie moments into mouthwatering experiences, and we’re really excited to bring some of our iconic menus to Edinburgh in partnership with Patina. “Think Cubanos from Chef, the five-dollar shake from Pulp Fiction, or even the iconic dish from Ratatouille.” Taste Film has selected bakery cafe Patina in Edinburgh Park as its venue for all five films. The team is working closely with Patina’s owner Geffen Yoeli-Rimmer to add an Edinburgh flavour to its menus for each film. Geffen Yoeli-Rimmer said: "Our incredible events space is a hidden gem, perfectly suited to Taste Film's screenings. “We're excited to be delivering seven courses for each screening, adding Patina's signature flair to each dish" Ratatouille is the first film in the series. Tickets are now on sale and cost £99.50, with a vegetarian or vegan menu available and two cocktails included. Tickets available exclusively on www.tastefilm.co.uk
