Our resident boxing gym, Coppola boxing are running a timetable of varied boxing classes. Whether you've never boxed before or you're a seasoned pro there are classes to suit all abilities to improve your skill and fitness. In May, Edinburgh Park hosted a epic Spring market. Despite the drizzly rain, Occupiers and Visitors to the park enjoyed stalls that showcased local food, craftsmanship and more. The hog roast was particularly popular! It is great to see New Park Square at Edinburgh Park as the venue for this event and look forward to having more public events available for Occupiers and the local community soon. Watch this space! Spring is an extra special time of year for Edinburgh Park. The park becomes a frame of vivid greens with life springing into action. Take a lunch time walk to see the resident moorhen and some of her young chicks, she has had eight in total. There is also a heron that can be seen watching over the water at Edinburgh Park, steady as statue. The park is bursting with new life at the moment from frogs to ducklings there is always something to see whilst walking around the lochans. Bring the family over the May halfterm for a wildlife treasure hunt and see how many different animal babies they can spot!

Edinburgh Park worked closely with designer Four-by-Two to commission a logo that is clear, crisp and showcases the natural elements in the parks immediate surroundings. We hope the pop of aqua blue that can now be seen around the park is a welcome addition.

An overhaul to the signage and wayfinding at Edinburgh Park has been underway and is finally in place. You will notice new signposting, Occupier directories, bus stops and amenity signage to help you navigate your way around the park. Edinburgh Park worked closely with designer's Four-by-Two to create impactful signage that reflects our brand. These weatherproof signs will become a permanent feature of Edinburgh Park's landscape.

Biodiversity boost for Edinburgh Park

Following a park wide Biodiversity Net Gain Assessment, the management team have initiated a plan to encourage more wildlife to the park. Areas that were previously grassland, have now been planted with wildflower meadows seeds that should come into bloom next year. Coupled with a more defined path network we will continue to monitor the progress of the project.
